SEE • TRUST • BE

Namaste and welcome.

I am fueled by a deep desire for Self-discovery & Truth (Satya.) Here you can find a transformative and profound practice of Yoga, conscious creations and musings.

Inspired by the true meaning of all Yogas – (re)Union with Divinity – I hope to instill the qualities of trust, surrender, openness and courage deep within your being so you have the foundation and support to discover your own peace, grace and freedom.

VARIOUS RIVERS LEAD TO ONE OCEAN

Styles of Yoga I love to teach and practice.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is referred to as Flow.

Yin

Initially called “Taoist” yoga this style of yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body (vs. the superficial tissues) and the fascia that covers the body; this Taoist yoga is to help regulate the flow of energy in the body.

Nidra

Yoga Nidra, which is also known as yogic sleep, is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total a deep physical, mental,
and emotional relaxation.
(A state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.)

Meditation

Meditation is a practice where an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize or for the mind to simply acknowledge what it observes without becoming identified with it, or as an end in itself.

Mantra

A type of yoga that uses mantras to awaken the Self and deepen the meditative aspects of a physical yoga practice. Mantra yoga is an exact science that is meant to engage the mind through focusing on sound, duration and number of repetitions.

Jnana / Self-Inquiry

Self observation and the constant attention to the inner awareness of “I” or “I am” recommended by Ramana Maharshi as the most efficient and direct way of discovering the unreality of the “I” / personal dentity.
Discovering and knowing:
“Who are you?”

Silvia Rodrigues was introduced to spirituality in 2012 during a turbulent “Divine storm.” Since then she is guided by Grace and has whole-heartedly pursued awakening in many forms. As a gifted Yoga teacher (RYT-500) who always teaches Yoga in the context of spiritual awakening, she has supported many to experience a deeper sense of union with the divine.

Based in Cascais, Portugal, she gives group classes several times a week, as well as private classes, online courses and retreats. She also shares her mandala art (Sacred Stones) which comes from a state of meditative concentration. The art comes from the heart.
